Visiting: Lodging
There are a variety of lodging options both in Friday Harbor and around San Juan Island. There are several hotels in town and the historic Hotel De Haro at Roche Harbor. Condos and cottages are also available at Roche Harbor. There are numerous Bed and Breakfasts throughout the island as well as camping areas, cabins, lodges and vacation rentals. When staying in town, Friday Harbor is easily accessible on foot. Most other accommodations will require a car or taxi to reach.
During the Spring and Summer season and on many holiday weekends reservations are needed for almost any accommodation. It's best to plan ahead and book as early as possible. Vacation rentals are mostly available by the week and are frequently booked several months in advance.
